What you'll do
- Administer SQL Server across on-premises and Azure environments
- Run backup, restore, replication, high availability and DR, including Always On availability groups
- Tune performance, optimise queries and manage indexing
- Upgrade, patch and migrate databases
- Configure security, access control and audit
- Run monitoring, capacity planning and housekeeping
- Run ITIL-aligned incident, problem and change management
What you bring
- Hands-on Microsoft SQL Server DBA experience
- Strong T-SQL, including stored procedures and query plans
- SQL Server in Azure or hybrid environments
- Backup, replication, HA and DR design and operation, including Always On availability groups
- Performance tuning, indexing and query optimisation
- Migration and upgrade experience
- Change management in regulated environments
