- Run high availability, backup and DR in the cloud
- Build infrastructure as code for databases
- Optimise performance, cost and security
- Migrate on-premises databases
What you bring
- Hands-on experience running managed databases on AWS, Azure or GCP such as RDS, Aurora, Azure SQL or Cloud SQL
- Deep administration of at least one engine among PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server or Oracle
- Terraform or CloudFormation for database infrastructure
- Python or shell automation
- Cloud networking, IAM and encryption for data services
- Monitoring and alerting with CloudWatch, Azure Monitor or Prometheus
